Hunter traps

Just a question, I played vanilla way back when, and was lucky enough to see the inside of naxx back when it was released, always played a hunter, always enjoyed it. 

Hunters were able to double trap i.e. Lay down a freezing trap, wait until it came off cool down, pull, wait for one mob to get trapped, feign death,  let agro go to pet, then drop another trap, and trap a second mob

this feature has been disabled or changed on a lot of servers even though hunters were able to do it through vanilla and through tbc and into wotlk.

what is crestfall planning to do with this? The little things are important.

I remember good hunters double-trapping but am I wrong to think you needed some survival talent to increase duration?

Anyway I'm sure it will work on this server as long as the mechanic is verified.

Afaik the reason it works is that despite you can only have 1 trap active (as in armed) an already trapped mob doesn't count as active trap, so you place > Lure and Trap, wait for cd to expire and fd/place for a second.

Correct?

(I haven't played a hunter in classic but my brother was one)

Double trapping is blizzlike yes, should work for sure, and if not that's what the beta is for!

I can confirm what @Zecov said.  You don't need to increase duration or anything.  Once the mob is frozen, you just wait till the ice pops and then fd/droptrap again. It's very blizzlike

i confirm too @Zecov. u can land a trap, wait for CD up, then freeze a mob and FD +trap another one. that's how it should work and if not we have the beta to fix it
