This forum is not very mobile friendly.

I don't think I can access all the formatting options while on mobile, and when I accidentally quote something there is no way to either delete the quote frame or to just get out of it to type underneath it. Or maybe I'm just silly. Please help ;c

The quote frames are very wild and dealing with them is not easy, not even on PC.

As for the formatting options, that's due to the bar they're housed in scaling to proportions with the width and height of the window.

Ergo, if you go on a PC and put your browser into a small window, you find it's gonna lose some of the options too, because it doesn't stretch vertically to get more space.

Do you mean via the quote option underneath each message that quotes the entire post? Or the option where you highlight text and then get a 'quote this' option to only quote what you selected?

I'm on my phone right now and tested both methods with your own post. I was able to get out of the quote box and also delete it by pressing backspace/x several times.

But yes, there are less formatting options on mobile vs desktop view.

I tap the quote button on the bottom of a post. What a pain in the hindquarters it is.

Agreed. I'm on the phone now so I can just tap and quote and off we go. The issue I have is if you need to edit the quoted part. Once you jump into the quote box you can't get out.

Can be very frustrating. Otherwise I have no complaints.

That's odd. I just quoted you fine and typing this on my phone. It also looks okay, so Im not sure why. Could you specify your phone model and OS version, and browser you're using on mobile so maybe we can get a look at this?

Edit: You're right, you cannot unquote people on mobile. I'll get this forwarded asap!

@rooted

You need to charge your phone.

I can quote posts and comment on them, but once I tap into the quote frame to edit it, I can't tap out of it to put my comment underneath the frame. And when I accidentally quote something, I can't delete the frame, only remove its contents, and then I can only type inside it. What a torture.

I have a OnePlus2 with OxygenOS 3.5.6 and the browser is just Chrome. Maybe it's just the hipster phone, I knew I should have bought something normal >:c

Hmm. I can go out of the quote frame just fine, so not sure what the issue is. @Crogge would be the one to fix this, though.
