Hey guys, I want to roll a warrior and wPVP (probably go two-handed sword) but obviously I want an epic and there is no way a guild will let an arms warrior come on a raid... let alone get an epic two-handed drop of any sort.

So... I am going to need to do weaponsmithing and make my own. But I cannot seem to find any vanilla recipes for epic two-handers. This makes me nervous (not really though I guess I can just farm Unstoppable Force but I really wanted to use a two-handed sword)... There has to be recipes for epic two-handed weapons in vanilla right?

If anyone knows of a database for all vanilla recipes dealing with two-handed weapons please share them with me!

I am trying to determine what weapon specialization I should go into and obviously this will weigh in heavily on my decision.

Axesmith. All warriors will be using Arcanite Reaper http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=12784, a very good 2h, the best until you get one of the 2hs from Rag in MC which will be a while after launch.

the recipe : http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=12838

You don't need to be a weapon smith, it's a huge gold sink but if you do do it, you can charge quite a bit for the craft as well, so it's up to you. One of the top guilds/players will get this recipe quickly though so it may be easier to just farm the gold/mats to get it crafted.

Don't forget the Nightfall, which used to be pretty popular for lower tier raiding.

Do not go weaponsmith, armorsmith makes much more dosh, especially selling fire resistsmce gear and lionheart helmets. On top of that, most of the blacksmith weapons (excluding nightfall) will be obselete once you get obsidian edge blade or bonereaver from MC, and thats the first tier of raiding! BWL has asskandi and draconic maul.

If you're looking to save money on getting an Arcanite Reaper made, be an alchemist or an enchanter and become buddies with an axesmith. If you want to make money by crafting Arcanite Reapers, become an herbalist/miner instead. If you want to help your guild by being a weaponsmith, be an alchemist and make more arcane crystals instead.

Weaponsmithing is god awful in vanilla and armorsmithing only slightly less so and ONLY if your a raiding guild's sole armorsmith who gets fed patterns. It's a humongous money sink that, unless you get fed rare patterns and peddle your stuff all day long, will lose you a lot of money for little to no return. I've done the weapon/armorsmith thing many times in vanilla, don't do it unless you have a guild backing you up.

As far as crafting recipes go, like someone already posted above, the only relevant one is Arcanite Reaper.
