Max Blacksmithing and Leatherworking

Hey all,

A Buddy and I were talking about Crestfall and what professions we should have as there are five of us who are planning to play together, and were wondering what the point was to leveling Leatherworking or Blacksmithing to completion? I feel like more money could be made going down some other profession if you didn’t plan to be using the armor and weapons for LW or BS as you level. I know there are specializations for each prof but is it even worth it to level it all the way?

Lionheart Helm and Devilsaur items sell for a pretty decent amount of gold as far as I know.

Are there any decent sets you can make for a warrior or hunter?

Sets? Honestly, idk. I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I know very little of vanilla endgame stuff. I'm sure there's someone that can help you out. Ima take a guess and call @Cruzix and @Frost.

For BIS hunter and I guess for rogue too there is the crafted Devilsaur items, that said. I heared about a so-called mafia dedicated to this particular farm in the private server community, or it was black lotus? Maybe both? Either way, from blacksmithing I'm sure there is a few items probably after quite a lot of rep farming plus some other items from RNG drops that surely should be on high demand. For example, a very certain 2H Axe that buffs shadow (or all spell damage?) that allows very certain classes and/or unorthodox builds a spot in raids.

The imperial armor set is quite popular before raiding.

Armorsmithing is for suckers, pure and simple, unless you become the designated AS for an entire guild or something.

Swordmaster ´Smith (i miss link it on trade channel LFWork! damn you blizzard!) is the best, anyway, if u ever plan to get /anal [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Winseeker] you need it to make some legendary ingots (20 in total) so yeah, could work for you or your friend, also, you can make some nice fire resist gear, which is great for the 1st raids

I completely forgot about Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Winseeker so it looks like BS will be in my future.

nothing...i just miss my 2nd profession having a tittle and when you could link it on trade channel like "looking for job" (paste ur profession here) and [Master Swordsmith] appeared instead of [blacksmith] felt awesome, since most people on my real didnt had it (i play in latin america servers, and they came late and getting tittles in second profession was not well known)
