Personalized Druid Talent builds!

The hybrid healer!

http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVooZxGMs0bZVecoco

Background:

this is a spec I've played with for quite a while while gearing up and PvPing.
it's emphasis is on stacking CP through crits and putting bleeds, IS and moonfire on the target. Works exceptionally well on warriors and rogues. Even in full healing gear!

An example for a rotation in pvp is this;

Ravage/punce - rake - claw - get the CP bleed off - Bear form - tank initial damage (instant casts/fears) - Moonfire - insect swarm - re-apply rake or continue in bear.

Additional information:

I went quite far into the healing tree  too. I healed every 5-man with this spec so it seems viable as a good hybrid pve/pvp gearing up spec.

This spec has no place in raids!

I personally love this spec as it's super versatile and even effective in healing gear! Plus you have great support capabilities too and if you'd like you can FC. (I personally got bored of druid FC'ing long ago, hunter is more fun for that imho.)

Leveling:

It is also an excellent leveling spec, starting out in the Feral tree then moving onto the Healing tree and ending with the balance tree.

It wrecks from 35 on in world pvp too!

(Get 1/1 Nature's Grasp somewhere at level 23-ish

What spec do you rock that you made by yourself? Post them here!

I'm eager to find out what you are playing!

I was thinking for such build in the end game for tank/dps boosting maul/swipe dmg with 30% . Max "feral agression" points will bring more threat? What do u think :)?

http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVhoZEM0sfbdtV

Swipe only hits 3 targets, it's not that amazing for tanking. However;

Tank build with no Feral Instinct/Primal Fury.
Feral Aggresion does nothing for tanking threat.

I'd roll with this; http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVhoZEM0sfbdtV

as a 'pure tank' atleast (one point left for insect swarm, omen or Aspecy).

@Triballone

your first built is nice as it is but I would personally remove the imp shred and invest it in Feline swiftness if you were pvping as a kitten. The imp shred talent isn't super useful in pvp.

I if it were pve I guess you based your buils around power-shifting (cuz of natural shifter) then I guess: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVhoZE0zsfbdtq would be optimal?

(Feline swiftness could go in imp stun/anything). But you'll sacrifice alot of survivability with this pure damage build.

I can tell you right now that any semi-competent tank will have 5/5 Feral Instinct. This talent alone lets every single person in the group or raid perform 15% better.

Hello my druid fellows.

I thought this would be better to post here rather than start a new thread. I hope some experienced pvp druid would create a topic about pvp :)

So I'd like to get feedback from my build for pvp: http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0zLVhoZeMMsfbdtV

Especially about those three points in feral aggression. Would it be more efficient to put them in feral instinct (helps your prowl and get succesfull opening as cat more often) or in thick hide (more survivalibility against certain classes, does the armor contribution apply in every shape btw?) What do you think? All other comments regarding the build are welcome as well :)

My playstyle would involve a lot of shapeshifting and doing damage in every form (mostly in feral ofc) depending on what suits the best in situation at hand. So gear emphasis will be in stm/str/int.

I'm trying to come up with a pre-raid build that will allow me to heal, DPS and tank all of the pre-raid content. The idea is to have fun by mixing it up and by playing a unique build, and to find groups easily.

Here is what I have so far. Reasoning below...

http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0ZxT0scrdxVgc0xo

Furor over IMotW: allows for powershifting, bear + charge, fun stuff

Improved Healing Touch: Needed to heal.

Nature's Swiftness: Oh Shit button. Good to have even in feral.

Feline Swiftness 1/2: Feels Bad Man, but dungeons are not outside. Not sure if I should go 0/2 or find a way to make it 2/2.

No Leader of the Pack: Pretty much kills any hope of even the most casual of guilds to take me as feral to raids (I can still pretend to be full resto!)

So, will this build allow the hybrid class to actually be hybrid?

The build you've linked doesn't quite correspond to your comment below it, the link has 0/2 Feline Swiftness for example.

However, said build could theoretically DPS/Tank/Heal any 5/10 man dungeon in the game.

@Elicas for exmp i will be 38 lvl druid and i have http://db.vanillagaming.org/?talent#0Zx0gscbdZV this build, can i be a good heal in 5man dungeon in heal gear?

Yes. Have a stack of level appropriate mana pots and 2x stacks of water and you'll be fine in the most basic +int/+Spirit gear.

The tanks ability and gear, and the groups ability to CC, will have more influence on whether or not you are successful than your talent build will.

I will probably aim for a 0/30/21 for dungeons and hope I can heal as well as tank with it.

Perfectly fine for either role in dungeons and 10 mans. Could probably heal most 20 mans as well if your gear is high enough or your raids dps in high enough.
